MISERY has been postponed for April 11 - 27, 2025.

Last Updated: January 2, 2025

Dear friends and patrons,

Due to unforeseen circumstances affecting a member of our company, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the run of Misery to April 11 - 27, 2025 — its original production dates.

This decision was not made lightly. However, when faced with a choice, we prioritize the well-being of our people. We believe that a joyful and supportive environment is essential for creating a truly impactful performance, and we want to ensure that the energy of the actors translates positively to our audience.

ABET is more than just a theatre; it's a hub for our community. We strive to create meaningful and impactful productions, and we believe that rushing to proceed with the show would not be in the best interest of those involved, the quality of the production, ABET itself.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. This has been a challenging start to 2025, but we are committed to living our values and supporting the well-being of our community members. ABET is a theatre for the community, and our actions must reflect that.

We understand this postponement may cause inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption to your plans. Current ticket-holders have been notified and given the option to reschedule or refund their tickets by mid-month, and tickets for our April dates are now on sale at the link above. Stay tuned for an announcement about how we will use our January stage time.

We are excited to showcase Misery in April at Players by the Sea!
